Privacy Policy
How we handle the details you send us.
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the quote form on this website. It was last updated in October 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Carpet Cleaning Teddington, which cleans carpets, rugs, stairs and hard floors in Teddington. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through the website.
If you have a question about your information, use the quote form and say in your message that it's a privacy request.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter in the form:
- your name, email address and postcode
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- the service you're interested in, details about the job and when would suit you
- for business enquiries, your business name and type of premises, if you give them
- the page of the website you sent the form from
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and we don't set cookies for those purposes. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where needed.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out the work.
Our legal basis is that you've asked us to take steps before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or share them for anyone else's marketing.
How the form works
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-handling service that passes your enquiry on to us by email. You can read the Web3Forms privacy policy on their website.
Your enquiry is then held in our email account.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for any longer period the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it.
To make a request, use the quote form and say it's a privacy request. We'll respond as soon as we can, and within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
